Dice swings

For a series of children’s play swings in rotational molding, we worked at the design team of Pars Pro Toto on the preliminary research and form exploration. The swings are designed to grow with the child: from toddler to preschooler, with a focus on safety, support, and fun. The swings are now in production and are being distributed to playgrounds and gardens.

To start exploring designs a thourough analysis was conducted. From market research to technical analysis of existing swings, these formed a sturdy base to start exploration. Digital 3D models of children were used to keep ergonomics in mind, so this swing would be able to grow with the child.

The involvement in this project went up to the concept phase. The final concept an detailled design was conducted by the design team of Pars Pro Toto.
